2020 was natuurlijk een heel erg vreemd jaar. Maar we zouden bijna vergeten dat er in de eerste drie maanden van 2020 wel concerten zijn geweest. Voor de coronacrisis is gestart heb ik toch nog 7 concerten kunnen fotograferen. Namelijk: - Sum 41 + Zebrahead in de Lotto Arena, Antwerpen - Lio + Knoest in Dynamo, Eindhoven - Sum 41 + Zebrahead in de AFAS, Amsterdam - Kaiser Chiefs in de Muziekgieterij, Maastricht - PVRIS in de Melkweg, Amsterdam - New Years Day in de Melkweg, Amsterdam
- SWMRS + Cage The Elephant in de 013, Tilburg

Brothers In RAW Voor mij was het beste concert dat ik voor Brothers In RAW mocht fotograferen Sum 41 + Zebrahead in de Lotto Arena in Antwerpen. Sum 41 is vanaf 2012 al een van mijn favoriete bands en ik heb ze in 2016 voor het eerst live gezien. De kans om ze te fotograferen had ik nog nooit gehad tot dit jaar. Op dinsdag 14 Januari was het dan eindelijk zo ver. Ik mocht Sum 41 fotograferen in Antwerpen. Heel spannend allemaal natuurlijk omdat het de eerste keer was dat ik in een grote zaal mocht fotograferen maar het was een toffe ervaring en ik ben zo blij met de foto's van deze show!
LLuid Het beste concert voor LLuid was dit jaar wel SWMRS + Cage The Elephant. (2 maart 2020) En natuurlijk ook nog Zebrahead & Sum 41 in de AFAS. (Maar ik heb net al veel over Sum 41 verteld). SWMRS + Cage The Elephant was het laatste concert dat ik heb gefotografeerd voordat de concertzalen dicht gingen. Door COVID-19 was dit ook de laatste show voor de bands. SWMRS is een band die ik al een hele tijd heel erg tof vind dus ik vond het geweldig toen de band werd aangekondigd als voorprogramma. Cage The Elephant heb ik in 2019 op Pinkpop gezien. De show die daar werd gegeven was zo vreemd maar wel heel erg goed. Daarom leek het me een hele toffe uitdaging om CTE te mogen fotograferen. Beide bands hadden zoveel energie wat deze show heel erg tof heeft gemaakt om te fotograferen!

The best concerts of 2020
2020 was a really weird year. We're almost forgetting that we had shows until March. Before this COVID-19 crisis started i photographed 7 shows:

Brothers In RAW The best concert that i photographed for Brothers In RAW was definitly Sum 41 in the Lotto Arena in Antwerpen. Sum 41 is since 2012 one of my favourite bands and i saw them live for the first time in 2016. I never had the change to photograph them before until this year. Tuesday 14 January 2020 was the day that i finally had the chance to photograph Sum 41 in Antwerpen. It was really exciting because it was the first time that i photographed in such a big venue. But this was really nice and i'm so happy with the pictures of this show!

The best concert that i did for LLuid this year was SWMRS + Cage The Elephant. (2 March 2020). And ofcourse also Zebrahead & Sum 41 in the AFAS. SWMRS + Cage The Elephant was the last show that i photographed before all the venues closed because of corona. It was also the last show for the bands because of COVID 19. SWMRS is a band that i like for a long time. When i heard the news that they're the opening band for CTE i was really exciting for this show. I saw Cage The Elephant live at Pinkpop 2019. Their show was so weird but really good. So that was the reason that i wanted to photograph the band. Both of the bands had so much energy on stage what made the show so nice to photograph! I hope that i can photograph them again anytime.
